Biography
Murray Callaway teaches courses in technical and business writing and a variety of courses in American Literature. As a consultant in workplace communication, he has worked for a Maine power company, an environmental engineering company, and a new product marketing company. He has consulted with public schools about how to develop their workplace writing curriculums. He has been an active volunteer in community educational projects, such as the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor.
He currently cooperates with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, teaching technical writing for engineering applications. Other interests include short fiction, non-fiction narrative essay, southern literature, gothic/horror literature, Maine literature, and environmental literature.
Education
B.A. in English Education, University of Florida.M.A. in English, concentrating in Composition Theory, University of Maine.
