I am a first year graduate student from El Paso, Texas. I graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelors in English and a bachelors in Philosophy. I enjoy reading academic research on languages, religion and poetry. I want to expand my understanding of religious texts and their influence on literature through prophetic writings and personal mythologies from authors such as John Milton or William Blake. I am interested in exploring and writing about the prose works of Alan Moore and looking at the relationship between mysticism, religion and the occult in literature – using his works.
