ENG 101: College Composition
Bio
I received my B.A. in English with a minor in history from the University of Maine at Augusta, Bangor Campus, in 2021. I have a passion for all areas of English studies. My undergraduate experience consisted of utilizing queer theory to examine a variety of literature. During this time, I also furthered my creative writing and poetry skills, receiving an award for a creative nonfiction piece and an honorable mention for a poetry manuscript. As a second year in the English MA program, my studies have focused primarily on writing and rhetoric, with a special interest in identity, space and place, workplace writing, and the teaching of composition. When I am not on campus, I tend to juggle many family responsibilities that keep me happy and busy. If I do find some spare time, I enjoy writing, reading, walking in the forest, lounging with my pets, or playing disc golf with my spouse.
