Sigma Tau Delta
The Sigma Tau Delta’s goal is to foster a deep, meaningful engagement with all aspects of the study of English and literature, stimulate the cultural spirit of the home university and community, promote literacy, and act as exemplars of academia and professionalism. UMaine’s Rho Chi chapter is one of 850 active chapters internationally.
Entrance to Sigma Tau Delta is granted only to those in the top 35 percent of their class.
