I grew up in various locales across the South which has impacted my more recent research focus. I received my A.A. from Cleveland State Community College and my B.A. from Lee University. And am currently on track to finish my M.A. at the University of Maine in English Literature, with a concentration in Woman and Gender Studies. Having Previously done extensive research in the impacts of religion in American politics my current thesis is focused on exploring the intricacies of Queer identities in the Literature of the American South, particularly with awareness of the impact on religion on such voices.
