ENG 101: College Composition


Connor Ferguson is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in English program at the University of Maine. Originally from the Midwest, Connor moved to Maine in 2017 and after a short stint back in Iowa, will return for the English MA program in Fall 2020.
Connor’s prior work includes research on diversity and inclusion in Writing Centers (which was presented at NEWCA in spring of 2019, with a selection published in the Dangling Modifier), and time as a McGillicuddy Humanities Center Fellow with a project focusing on recentering the queer identities of authors in the Modernist canon. He is also a music director and DJ for the University of Maine’s radio station WMEB 91.9FM,
Connor will concentrate on creative writing through his graduate program, focusing on gender, identity, fabulism, fantasy, and contemporary projects. He will also serve as a TA for ENG 101.
