Office Hours: MWF 4:00-5:00, TuTh 1:00-2:00, and by appointment.

I graduated from the MA program in English in 2021, and have served as adjunct faculty since then. As a teacher, nothing pleases me more than to see students find meaning in expressing themselves using the conventions and practices of academic writing. Hobbies include lifting, hiking, welding, and building. I am currently taking math classes and would like to work at the intersection of AI and composition.

Courses Taught:

ENG 101:516 (College Composition)

ENG 201:001 (Strategies for Writing Across Contexts)

ENG 205:502 (Intro to Creative Writing)

Research Interests:

Currently I am conducting research into the impacts that chatbots have had on higher education and the pedagogical innovations made possible by them.
