Jacqueline Knirnschild is originally from northeast Ohio, but she has lived in many places around the world, such as Australia and Italy. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Mississippi, where she concentrated in creative non-fiction and minored in Mandarin and Anthropology. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in English with a concentration in fiction at the University of Maine. Her essays, poetry and journalism have been published in Ninth Letter, MORIA, Hakai and elsewhere. She is also the Poetry Editor of BTWN, which is a Canadian literary journal that seeks to publish the beauties growing between genres.
