Jacqueline Knirnschild is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but she has lived in many places around the world, such as Australia, Italy and China. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Mississippi, where she concentrated in creative writing, minored in Mandarin and Anthropology, and was the Class Marshal of the College of Liberal Arts. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in English, with a concentration in fiction, at the University of Maine. Her essays, poetry and journalism have been published in Ninth Letter, Full Stop, The Cleveland Review of Books, Hakai, Poetry South, MORIA, The Waxed Lemon, Full House Literary, The Afterpast Review, and elsewhere. She is the Poetry Editor of BTWN, which is a Canadian literary magazine that publishes the beauties growing between genres. In her free time, Jacqueline plays the oboe in the University of Maine Orchestra.
