Isaac (they/he) hails from South Carolina and completed their BA near there in December of 2020. Generally speaking, their literary interests concern the notion of identity and its constitution. More specifically, they focus on the American counterculture, Postmodernism, and Existentialist philosophy. (They’re also a glutton for road stories, literary and cinematically.) If you get them talking, they’ll likely tell you more than you’d probably like to know about Allen Ginsberg and/or ask if you’ve ever read any Richard Brautigan.
Outside of literary studies (though not too far out), they enjoy creative writing, staring at trees, collecting found photographs, and hoarding stoneware mugs.
