ENG 101: College Composition
I received a B.A. in English Studies and a teaching credential in Secondary English Education from California State University, Chico. Before moving to Maine, I was a 7th grade English Language Arts instructor for two years at Eagle Peak STEM Middle School.
At UMaine, I have taught English 101 and am now working as the graduate assistant editor for Paideuma. I am interested in studying the role(s) of the nonhuman in contemporary literature and applying these perspectives to my future engagement with K-12 curriculum and teaching practice. Outside of my academic life, I love cooking elaborate meals and taking long walks with my best friend, Tova the dog.
